T-Shirt Printing FAQs – Edition Studio Melbourne

Looking for T-shirt printing in Melbourne? Here are the most common questions people ask about turnaround times, minimums, quality, walk-ins and online ordering — and how Edition Studio can help.

Do you have minimum order quantities for T-shirt printing?

No minimums on our core services. You can print one custom T-shirt, create a sample, or order a small run for staff, events or personal use. Edition Studio specialises in no-minimum T-shirt printing in Melbourne, giving you flexibility for both small and large jobs.

For customers looking for screen printing, this service is ideal for larger production runs. We offer screen printing on request and there is a 20-unit minimum for all screen print quotes.

All other decoration types — DTG printing, premium transfers and embroidery — have no minimums and can be ordered as single items or small batches anytime.

How fast is your turnaround? Do you offer same-day printing?

Most standard jobs are completed within 5–7 business days once artwork and payment are approved.

For urgent orders, we offer same-day and next-day printing on selected in-stock garments. Same-day service depends on:

– Artwork being print-ready
– Garments being available in the studio
– The job being booked before our daily cut-off

If you have a deadline, let us know — our team will help confirm the fastest option for your job.

Can I design my own T-shirt online?

Yes. Our online designer lets you customise T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags and more directly in your browser — no design software needed.

Upload your logos, add text, adjust placement and preview your design before ordering.

Prefer assistance? You’re welcome to visit our studio for in-person support with layout and artwork.

Can I walk into the studio for help or same-day printing?

Yes. Edition Studio operates a walk-in friendly T-shirt printing studio in Melbourne’s west. You can:

– Get live help with your artwork and layout
– See garment and colour options in person
– Arrange same-day or next-day printing on selected items

Walk-ins are ideal for last-minute jobs, samples, small runs and logo tests before you commit to a full uniform rollout.

What printing and embroidery options do you offer?

All decoration is produced in-house at Edition Studio for consistent quality control. We offer:

DTG printing for soft, detailed full-colour prints
Premium vinyl & DTF transfers for bold, durable designs
Embroidery for logos on polos, caps, scrubs, jackets and uniforms

We print and stitch on quality basics from trusted brands, so your merch and uniforms feel premium, wash well and represent your brand professionally.

Where are you located and do you ship outside Melbourne?

Edition Studio is based in Melbourne, Australia, with production in the western suburbs. We print and embroider everything locally.

We offer fast dispatch Australia-wide, with both standard and express delivery options at checkout. If you’re local, you can also choose to pick up your order from the studio.

Can I bring my own garments for printing or embroidery?

Yes. We do accept bring-your-own items for many print and embroidery jobs, especially for one-off pieces, samples and special garments.

Because we didn’t manufacture the garment, BYO items are decorated at the customer’s own risk. Our team will always check fabric type and seams first and let you know if there is any concern before proceeding.

If you’re unsure, bring the item into the studio or contact us with photos and we’ll advise the best option.

What artwork files do you need for the best print result?

For the cleanest print or embroidery, we recommend:

Vector files (PDF, AI, SVG, EPS) with fonts outlined, or
High-resolution PNG/JPG (300dpi or higher) with a clear, non-blurry logo

If you don’t have print-ready artwork, our in-house team can help tidy your logo or set it up for printing and embroidery. You can also build simple text-based designs directly in our online designer.
